My 'virus scan' was incapable of finding a damn thing, and i'm not exactly computer literate beyond bare basics. That's what the problem was. That's ok, we had free service for life on the thing anyway, so all service upgrades, etc are free of labor charge.
Anyway, on to Kloreep.
One Q: Is there map settings known on this, or was it random. Just wondering...

Uno - I know what you mean. To me, this computer is simply a big game and e-mail and forum-access machine. When something goes wrong, I call in an expert.
And yup - the standard in most games is to put the game settings and player order and civs in the first post - by whoever set the game up. When you get to the second or third thread - generally just the play order is carried over - but by then, most of the world is known so a new player coming in can figure it out quickly.Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense.
