  • Yes. Kloreep and myself will pull our choices back in order for you, Theseus, to have your turn at picking the civ that you want.

It's good news to hear that you're still with us Theseus!

      • Sorry for the misunderstanding and delay.

        So:

        Egypt, Pharoah Theseus

The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

        • I assume Klo will keep Greece which means Wittlich needs to repick, correct?

The sooner you pick, Witt, the sooner I will

            You mean this post Theseus?

Nah, we didn't really pay attention to that. Especially Beta, he was WAY to busy spamming to pay attention

            • Just bring the same level of MM to the game, everyone, and I'll forgive all the oversight.

Well, for starters, you could have been clearer. Like what weekend, and what Monday??

con is right - this went right over my head. The misunderstanding is mine Theseus. Sorry about that.

"Yah right", says Theseus, as the Persians and Egyptians line up for a Vox/GS grudge match.

                Isn't that a hoot.

Yep, especially considering Theseus just took my #2 pick.

                      • So - are we agreed on Carthage going back to industrial and commercial - instead of sea-faring - or should we leave that choice up to the Carthaginians?

Why would we do that? Are we not playing stock C3C?

[Edit: Not that I mind... I'll leave it up to you more experienced PBEMers if there is some commonly accepted reason.]

                          • More or less - I was only thinking that we are planning on using a pangaea map with no island starts. Seafaring will still have a role - albeit diminished.

                            I am easy either way.

                            • Theseus: Unless there are objections, I think we're moving map trading back to Map Making. So it may not be completely stock.

However, this is the first I've heard of changing Carth's traits back. Why do you suggest that, Beta?

Edit: Crosspost. I didn't remember we were doing pangea. In that case, I guess we might want to leave it an option for the Carth plaer.

                              • SEA works for pangaeas too.

Is the map trading thing due to the MP restriction on in-game versus out-of-game communication? Makes sense to me, especially for a 'classic' game.

BTW, I didn't see it confirmed... is or has SR made or tweaked a map?
