            edit: 325BC to Ceasar Conius

(Brian is hauled into Pilate's audience chamber. It is big and impressive,

although a certain amount of redecorating is underway. The Centurion salutes.)

            Centurion: Hail Caesar.

            Pilate: Hail Caesar.

            Centurion: Only one survivor, Sir.

Pilate: Thwow him to the floor.

            Centurion: What, Sir?

Pilate: Thwow him to the floor.

            Centurion: Ah!

(He motions to the two Roman guards, who throw Brian to the ground.)

                  Evil Macedonian Plot Exposed
                  by Rhothaerill - RhothSPIN Press

In a startling revelation today, dignitaries of Persia, who have travelled to the capital of Macedon with the humble request for peace in our times and an end to the encroaching Macedonian barbarians, overheard what can only be deemed as a threat.

Betacles Schwarzenegger, the formerly esteemed leader of the neighboring Macedonians was overheard stating his true feelings about what his desires were with regard to the peaceful Persian empire, "To crush your enemies! To see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women!"

As word of this news has spead throughout Persia, the very populace itself has begun rising to fight this menace from the west.

Andraqa Burlap, a farmer from the fields of Arbela speaks, "If this Betacles thinks that we will just roll over and let him take our territory, he better think twice. The peasantry themselves will fight him to their last breath. Our leadership never truly realized what this snake of a neighbor truly intended. Now everyone knows. And we will fight. And we will win!"

                  Truer words were never spoken.

A picture of the menace Betacles:

On a more serious note - what are you up in arms about??? I took the initiative to claim the border lands. You could have done the same. There is a saying in Greece: The early bird gets the best olives.

Well Persia, wake up and smell the roses, friends.

btw - the picture is a pretty good facsimile, although HE could use some conditioning.
