Well it is with much regret that our captain sinks the Arab galley.

Unfortunately mighty Byzantine cannot allow an arab military base to be constructed on our shores. Our swords are on their way north to dismantle the settlement.

Despite having made these hard and unfortunate decisions, the Byzantines do not want war. We are willing to put this incident down to 'delayed communications' - the sacred save being sent before receiving our warning.

This being the case, we would offer our fine dyes as compensation for the Arab galley as soon as techology permits.
