Andy, we all got the same starting positions as in the first; at least I did when I compared the two games

Aye. What happened was Conqueror sent me the game which I played and sent on to Chrisius (1st save). Conqueror then realised that one island didn't have saltpeter, so he fixed it and sent me the game again. I then played that one (2nd save) and sent that on to Chrisius with an explanation and a big "PLAY THIS ONE" in the subject line (both saves had the same starting positions).
I'm just double checking that Chrisius played the correct game, ie the second save. If he didn't, then much later in the game one of us is going to find that he's without saltpeter..

I did actually play the wrong one first and sent it to Krill. I realised when I checked the next page of emails that you had sent a second version and played that too and sent it to Krill also with an explanation.
If krill has not noticed this then we may have to resend from me again to get it right. Krill did you get both saves ? and if so which one did you send forward

As Ive not heard from Krill or seen any response here Ive reposted the correct 3950BC save.
Ive asked him to replay it and then send it on as normal. the rest of you will need to also replay this turn so as to be absolutely sure we are playing the correct version.
Hopefully we will get moving soon after the initial confusion

If there reads 'Swiss alias Apes' next to Khannalx name, that is the incorrect (wrong) version.
I fixed to plain 'Apes' in the right version where saltpeter was fixed.
From this, it should be easy to check if you have played the wrong version or not
