SGL, palace prebuild... who knows
the GL in my hands is safer than in yours, for i can't profit from it by not further researching and reaping other people's work
(you've already got the single most powerful ancient wonder in your hands

SoZ: you're right... getting a 20 shield unit every 5 turns isn't a good as a 40 shield unit. especially as other units can be produced at half the price.
but pyramids? in AP i seldom even have granaries because growth is so far. so pyramids aren't that great imho.
currently, i most enjoy the great wall, knowing i've got 50% more defence... that makes we feel more comfortable (in SP i NEVER build the great wall )
