A curious fact, I didn't receive your save until 7:52 am this morning, more or less 9 hours after you sent it
I haven't played it until a few minutes ago because my experiment of dual install was crap and so I decided to forget my old game using 1.15. Dual install only *sound* messy. If you do it right it is quite easy...
First install c3c.
Second, install 1.15b FULL
Third, copy the ENTIRE conquest directory and rename it 'conquest115b' (avoid using . in directory names..)
fourth install 1.22
Start 1.22 the ususal way.
Locate the 'civ3conquest.exe' in the 'conquest115b' folder and make a new shortcut on the desktop or something. Rename the scortcut to 'c3c115b' or whatever

EDIT: Thanks, but don't worry, bongo, I've already deleted those saves in order to avoid falling in the temptation of trying again, with all the intelectual and physical effort I'm not ready to make
