      • Turn sent to the Ottomans.

I'll be out of town for part of next week and won't be able to play any turns from Monday to Thursday. Things'll be back to normal after that since I'll be around home for the rest of the Christmas season.

7am at work 1 hr away ... how's that for early riser?

Of course i haven't been playing in the AM much lately as a result (used to be 8am but is 7am for the next few weeks, wheeeee retail!) but still

edit: I mean i'm at work at 7, awake at 5, leave at 6, just to make that clear

jshelr - So the eMail worked, though maybe it would have been better lost?

Snoopy - Isn't that a definition of a normal day?? I get up late anymore (0400) so that I can get 45 minutes or so of game time in before I leave at 0600.

                    • My Bad

The Iroquois had made the following agreement with the Celts in early August.

"On another subject, oil springs has practically no shield-producing prospects any time in the future, but it is a good bridge between our civs.

                      > I will promise to build a road to meet your diamond mountain and further to never use that road for war under pain of being banned from civ for life
                      >
                      > This is in return for your similar word of honor never to use that route for moving any military units whatsoever."

So, I used the road to move a settler up and capture the diamonds on the first turn of an attack.

My excuse -- failing memory. I really thought it was ok, after I "captured" the tiles with a settler, to use the road. But the wording clearly says I could not use the road for war, which I did.

So, will you guys not ban me for life if I abandon the city? It costs me a settler and position, etc.

                      Sorry.

You might have to build another road.

I am used to sleeping a bit later than you perhaps And not used to waking that early - prior to a few months ago my workday started at 8, but i've been slowly adding 7am days due to my various bosses wanting an extra person on certain days at 7, and me working M-F 8am as opposed to others who work odder shifts mean I am stuck

Jshelr, I think it's between you and MFCamillus to work out the appropriate "punishment" for your action contrary to the agreement. Were I a judge, I would consider it indeed a violation, although I'd also find any agreement that included the word "forever" to be a poorly made agreement (once you conquer Celts, or they conquer you, are you still limited for example?). I suppose I'd vote for your suggested "punishment" as appropriate, but it's up to MFCamillus imho, and it's of course up to your sense of honor to follow - I certainly don't consider myself to be an "enforcer" of agreements between other players.
