    Why whine? You get what you get. The Optomistic side of everything says that if there are no bonuses visible then there will be resources later. Right?

    After a bit of wandering we have found a place to build actual huts. We look forward to expanding our influence and our strength throughout the orb (whoops, flat disc. Need astronomy yet).

          Gossip on my SP game that I'm passing the time with: I'm playing on a Tiny world. Last time I do that. Have a decent starting loc, but for one thing:
          There's no iron, whatsoever, on the continent. Already took out my one competition on the continent (1 of 2 total continents, 3 opps total).
          And of course none of the other civs can trade me any.

          Sigh ... so I had to take out an opp with ARCHERS ffs, and now can't build railroad until I either go make some roads on iron myself for my opps to then trade for, or take out another opp without any iron-made items.

          Sigh. Next time I'm playing on HUGE. That'll fix this problem right away.

                just waiting for a turn from Soltz ... My DSL was down for a while, stupid tornadoes, but it looks like email was fine. But, Soltz, if you sent in a turn already, I probably missed it, so please resend if you sent before 9:30 pm Central time (the time of this post) ... thanks!
