  • quitters should be poked with sharp stick

It figures - everytime i get a good game started (tiny map, turn-based, 1vs1 with 2-3 comp. ai's), we play for twenty minutes then my human opponent drops out (for whatever reason). Is this a bug, or are these weasels just not happy with the way the game is going. I mean, the pace is as fast as PTW is going to get (barring Firaxis actually learning how to code for MPing).

I know that when I play single, I save the game at the opening and restart if i made a boneheaded move or built my starting city in a bad spot, but people - WE CAN'T DO THIS IN MULTIPLAY!!!

To make this work, we have to have some patience.
Thank you for letting me rant.
I believe we just become a speck of dust.

well drops will happen in any multiplayer games, especially with dial ups, however there are also problems with the games that causes it to close out or drop on players sometimes.

Well it depends. Its obvious if the person was losing and making bad comments that they quit because they were loosing. Vice versa.

Better to take it like a man than wimp out. I bet thats what half these people are doing.
