About the release date...
Yes I was a bit confused about the release date as well... On this website, it says that there's a Release Party or something being held on the 1st November (which is today over here in Australia...) although on the official website, they haven't updated anything for about 2 months and don't even mention the release date! So if the game is already out, what is the release date that is mentioned on Apolyton's website? The global release date or something?Comment

a release party isnt necessarily associated with the release date
of course it started this way(firaxis announced going gold and releasing on nov.1) but later it seems things(shipment, etc) went faster and copies have been availiable since the 30th....
