Unable to chat when Playing

Hello,

I'm using Conquest (French) v.1.22

When I play a multiplayer game I'm unable to chat neither with the * key nor the diplomacy Windows.

Actually it often works at the very begining of the game. The problem occurs after a few time.

Any idea?
