I'd be happy to carry this game on if everyone else is. My score is pretty buggered after my scuffle with Grandpa Troll. If I recall correctly the decision to bring scores into the mix was made well after I went into war production mode, thus my expansion took a hit. Not bothered about it though.

No, scores were part of the forumula from the start- check rule #2 in the main thread, I haven't touched it since June. I knew it was going to be ugly here at the end but figured most people would loose interest with CIV's release. I think CIV will be a much better game for PBEM, especially after the next patch...

I'm heading around Europe. I'm not entirely sure where yet, but will be spending Christmas in Italy and New Years Eve in Paris.

I hope so. I've been holding off on starting a few Civ4 PBEMs because of the bugs, and also because I have only managed to play half a game in single player so far. I must say I'm enjoying it much more than when I first played Civ3. I'm a bit concerned by some of the reviews saying that the late game is too quick and slightly tedious, but we'll see. I only hope that we don't have to do those friggin battle reports any more!
