    #1 - yes, as a strategy to avoid the attacker from getting a benefit. Otherwise, I'll stay til the bitter end.

    For the others, I would say no but, we are dealing with the human race here!

      Oh, I just thought about another acceptable time to disband cities: to alter the city spacing. I'd be very annoyed if I had a camp on Saltpeter, so I'd likely disband the camp under those conditions.
      You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

        And of course, combat Settlers forcing their way into another civs lands may necessitate the abandoning of an adjacent city before they can found a new town

          ethics vs AI..not a chance

          in a PBEM vs humans ethics are much more important early on

          If you can't do what was promised, why should there be any trust turns later

          ethics later on
          I would never trust the "other" human player if there where only two left..just cant do it. Iwould not blame anyone for not trusting me
