Finish up C3C PBEMs and start new Civ4 ones if IV is an improvement.

Platy, you forgot an option for Paddy-
"I'll play more Civ3 games, start new CIV ones, and look for an old copy of CivII MP to fill in the free time. Does Freeciv run on my OS...?"

Civ IV will come late 2005, propably to christmas sales. Did read such news few days ago along with news that it was Take2 interactive who bought Civ rights.

So still plenty of time to play C3C PBEM And who knows - Civ 4 might be settling San Andreas with mean guys packing machine guns - if i have understood the general line of Take 2 games

I'll still play all my C3C PBEM's but might not try so hard to keep them all alive and moving. I'm sure that many players will drop and replacments will be hard to find.

Someday the future generations that uncover these threads will refer to it as The Great Withering, and while the harrowing tales of rampant apathy and choking death will scare many children it is really just the cycle of life. The old games must die to make room in our schedules for the newer and more efficient ways for us to procrastinate.

That's only if someone stays to bump the threads for him.
