        I am afraid I have to weigh in here and assure you, with absolute certainty and the evidence to back it up, that you are all wrong.

        The answer is quite clearly #1. I spent a whole night of civ playing in Paddy's house not so long ago, extending until dawn broke.....and the "spirit" bottle was never far from his side.....several spirit bottles, in fact
        So if you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy and some taste
        Use all your well-learned politesse, or I'll lay your soul to waste

              Certainly is an interesting debate you have here

              personally I think it has something to do with too many years working pubs - both sides of the bar

              always been taught that a good barman knows the drink of choice of his regulars, and that there should always be good food and music available

              who was to know back in those dark dark ages that a game of pbem would one day be added to that list
