Where are you people!
I'm guessing there are very few people that have never played Paddy before.

Sorry - wasn't following. I can arrange something if you like. Or do you want to go with the random set-up as suggested by 1889?
I see you have picked civs. How about a southern continents theme - Aztecs, Maya, Incas, and Zulus? And if we want to make it 5, add in the Iroquois and call it the Age of Aboriginals, or Indigenous PBEM, or Africa meets America, or better yet - Rumble in the Jungle - based on that famous Frazier-Ali fight back in the 70's. Oh and I would be the 5th player and we would ask Rhoth to do the map. Or do you want to keep it to a four player game.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.
Can I play too? I don't have any games with Paddy, honestly
Errrr....how about this....I've never played with Wittlich before.....and I'm not sure if I'm in a game with Beta either.....this could be a good group
So if you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse, or I'll lay your soul to waste Re-Organisation of remaining C3C PBEMS
Okay Beta has asked me to set up the map and I've agreed. I should be able to have it finished up by tomorrow or so with the changes Beta has asked for.
I have not read this thread so will someone post a list of who will be in the game and which nation that person will be. I'll also need a list of your play order.
Finally, please PM me with your password and any name and title customizations you'd like to have. The way I usually set up maps is to set back the time by a turn and input everyone's password, etc. so that the first person in the play order doesn't have to input everyone's info and gets a look at the minimap (not that anyone would do that, but the setup makes it almost impossible to avoid ).
Aztecs
Mayans
Incas
Zulus
Iroquois (or the Apache, or another NA First Nation) (your choice)
Egyptians
and the ....
Masai - who will be commercial and religious, and their UU will be the Masai Warrior (based on the Greek Hoplite).
The civs will be assigned randomly by Rhothaerill as part of the set up. Maybe he should do that random assignment first, and then you can decide on name customization.
Again - many thanks Rhoth.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.
So now you can base your name customization and titles, etc. off that. If everyone PMs me their preferred customization and password by about 6pm pacific time on Wednesday then I should be able to get the game started for you.
You know "Rumble in the Jungle" has some bad connotations.
I think "wetland habitat" will put us in the proper frame of mind to be good cartakers of our environment and the animals we share it with.
I also feel that Rumble has some violent undertones and I'd hate for us to start the game on the wrong track. "Rustle" evokes the sense of exploration and uncertainty that I think will lead to an enjoyable game for us all.

Lord Shield-Pacal of the Maya (nickname: Lord Smoke-Lung)
(maybe we should be playing the Meso-American scenario!)

And your new civ traits will be organic-vegetable-growing and bird-watching. And your UU will be the eco-warrior, who once fortified on a jungle or forest tile prevents that tile from being chopped.
