  • New technology is flying around the planet like nobody's business. I fear the French are not long for this world.

Meanwhile, reckless Russian Cossacks died on the point of French Imperial Guard bayonets north of Nancy, creating a great leader for the French....but we swiftly finished him off.

        • My Cossacks are no match for those French Guards, in thin numbers. I will continue to mass them through Prussian land.

              • Dispatch to my esteemed allies:

The Spanish 1st Army has taken the lovely riverside town of Montauban and its vineyards from the French. The army's artillery weakened their defences and the the cavalry charged into town, destroying all resistance. All the infantry had to do was walk in. ^^ My soldiers are now resting in that town and sampling its wines while waiting for reinforcements to arrive. Spain's 2nd Army is still in the field and heading north to harass the enemy and prevent them from crossing the Pyrenees.

                  Well done Lord Masuro

The French City of Nancy has fallen to my humble forces.

Lord Aqualung, the roads are yours

                    • This game almost seems too easy. Maybe I should have taken Gibraltar and then marched across France to fight for Napoleon.

                      • Yes it is too easy. The reason being, that Paddy activated AP making growth and unit production too quick.

                          • Ah, that explains my huge armies. Well, perhaps next time we can get our heads handed to us on a platter. ^^

The 2nd army has moved into the forest near Bordeaux and is waiting for some reinforcements before attempting to take the city. The first army is still in its cups and telling reinforcements to 'piss off until the wine is gone'. Hard lads, the first army.
