  • Crowded House PBEM - for Asia-Pacific Players

I would like to start a new game on a large map for 4 players in the Asia-Pacific region. I'm looking for people who can post at least once a day.
The game is on a large/huge panagea map with 24 AI players. It'll be survival of the fittest for the first couple thousand years.

I'd like to invite the following players to the game as I already know they are very reliable:

    1 - Masuro
    2 - Paddy
    3 - Ricketyclik
    4 - Aqualung71

If one or more of these people can't play I'll take other players.

      Me too

Sounds interesting. Are you thinking of any theme or objectives, or is it just as you said...."survival of the fittest"? Meaning, exploit the AI civs as much as you can to your own advantage?
So if you meet me have some courtesy, have some sympathy and some taste

Thanks for joining. What kind of objectives do you have in mind? I'm open to ideas.

You won't get 24 AI since the maximum number of civs altogether is 8, so that means 4 AI (but if you have a workaround I will gladly learn it).

Do you mean 8 civs for PBEM? Spit, I didn't think about that.

Okay, Paddy has said he will join. Now, how will we set this up? Any ideas?

I reckon a 4 player game, with some AI...

I mean map size. How about small with four players and four AI? That's fairly crowded. I was thinking one land mass for early contact between everyone.

Better make it standard size. Continents might be interesting - add in more strategy to the contact, plus it's different from our Iron Civer game which is pangea. Perhaps we should all take a seafaring civ? Just some ideas

Okay. Continents sounds okay but I don't want much water. I don't want to be stuck with three other civs on a small piece of land.

Actually, since you're the originator I'd be happy with whatever settings you choose

Are you going with random civs, or choose from a group, or we all nominate?

I'm okay with any civs at all. Random for AI.

Random for me, if possible. Isn't the map fixed in scenarios?

Since we're only having eight players then we don't need to go into the map editor.
