damn PTW-culture shock! i just came from a C3C game playing a seafaring civ with accellerated production on, paying 15 shields per harbour... and now having to pay 80 shields in PTW!!!! no wonder they put it down to 60, as 80 is completely overpriced

i never would have expected that there is anything more tedious that micromanaging... but correcting one's own text IS. the only difference is that micromanaging is fun, correcting isn't
last night i was up till 04:30, tonight probably the same.

but i promise that by saturday evening i will have caught up with all PBEMs! sorry for the delay!

the honour should be beta's... He's subbing for alexman anyway, so that fits in perfectly

The game has slowed down tremendously, from 4.6 to 5.1 hours per person per turn over approximately the last month.

also mine, I was out of inet on the past few weekends. Furthermore Beta stepped in for alexman. Allthough he's doing a dedicated job, alexman has an insane reply time. No worries, it's still the fastest game I'm in by far

Yes, McM's right I think. When travel winds down and snow builds up, this game will likely keep us warm and cosy this winter.
