Yes. Paddy started the game with the 1.22 patch.
Note that once you install the patch, all games you load "convert" to v1.22, and not everybody is ready to jump into this version. So you might have to do a dual install (as I did) to keep playing the other C3C games.Comment

Sorry! I should have explained better: I am happy you used 1.22; I'd like every game to upgrade soon, and if some games start using the patch, sooner or later the others will change too.Comment

1.22 doesnt recognise my CD in the drive.. (an original !!!!!)

Are we definitely going with 1.22 already then? I have heard a rumour that MGLs can rush Great Wonders but not other things.... This may still be bugged. If we're stuck with it let me know and I'll install a 5th version of Civ.
