Could people please eliminate me from this game... in a few weeks I don't have any possibilities to play PBEM games (and this is the only one I'm playing), and I doubt others will take over for this slow game...
Maybe I'll just give one random city to each player, then the next turn decleare war on everybody...

I have decided to give one city to each player (all cities are of almost the same size), so I can be eliminated from this game... reason stated in last post...

If it's in a position in which SR can attack me I will have to decline it...unless we all vow that these cities, given to us by you, will be off limits to attack for all Civs. Sort of a safe haven or a demilitarized zone! That mean none of us can build military units there! Can you guys all agree to that?
No. I will never again offer you anything or agree to anything you propose. Last time I offered you peace and begun to withdraw my troops (at free will and in good faith), you declined and used the opportunity to attack me and sunk several of my ships. So stop lying and shedding crocodile tears.

I honestly do not ever remember you asking for peace or offering to withdraw your troops. I would have gladly accepted that. The only action I remeber is you doing a changing of the guard on that mountain; and I don't remeber you asking for anything at all near peace or a withdraw at that time.
It was around the same time you accepted peace with the Aztecs, or very shortly after it. And I did not "change" the troops on this mountain, but withdrew all I could ship in this turn, and offered peace. I left only a small guard just in case you decline, which was with hindsight a wise decision. As response you sunk several ships of mine and declined the peace. Of course I landed my troops back next turn. Your cowardly behavior will not be forgotten.
SR:
You can't hedge your bets with offering peace in game without sending some sort of correspondence explaning your actions.
You either withdraw your troops or you do not. You either make prearrangements for peace and then a following withdraw of troops or you do not. Niether of these things happened.
I do not remember getting any correspondence from you concerning your actions/intentions. From my perspective it looked like you were in the midst of shipping away the "old guard" so that you may ferry them back for upgrades and replacing them with the "new guard". Again, with no correspondence from you, I saw this as a more than proable buildup of troops heading my way. So, I quite naturally attacked your troop carrying vessels in hopes of sinking a few of them with units on board. Believe me, it's no fun attacking a ship with a defense of 2 with a ship that has an attack of 1! I only did so thinking that if those troops ships were indeed full of replacements, that it would be worth my losses in terms of my own troops ships.
So, it was not "cowardly" behaivor, simply survival instincts based upon the current information I had. If I had been informed of your intentions and not left to simply guess what you were doing, things might have been different. Also, remember, I did not attack you first, you attacked me first....
Of course I would park a ship with reinforcements on board 1 tile from the landing point without actually disembarking them. And an offer of peace in-game doesn't need prearrangements, it states clearly by itself what it is.
I have been asked for help by ADG. So I attacked you, because you attacked my ally. Plain and simple.
I get offers of "peace" all the time in PBEM's and mostly players tell me they did not offer it. So, an offer for peace, in game only, means very little to me.
As for excuses...they are not "excuses" they are "reasons" as to why I did and continue to do what I do. I believe that ADG was not your ally unitl he asked you to help him, so that's just an "excuse" on your part!
