At least one of my other C3C games has upgraded to the 1.20 patch. Apparently, despite the MP troubles, it works well for PBEM (with one easily fixed minor flaw, with an easy fix - see the discussion thread here).

The question is: are we going to upgrade this game?

I really don't want to bother with a dual install. I'm waiting to see how many games upgrade before I install the patch.

BTW, the words in bold at the top of the download page saying that 1.20 won't load earlier version saves is a crock, so I'm told.

Also, the SAVE warning is for the general public. I can't be 100% sure that every save file will be fine so I have to say that it isn't compatible.

it's a simple precaution, like the "beta" in the earlier patches were. no need to worry.
