Actually Slightly, I see no problem with your examples. Stating what your surounding landscape looks like is fine and is considered a part of the PBEM diplomacy.

Actually, my partner, who works for the City of Palo Alto, CA has all next week off for Christmas...as a matter of fact, all city management employees have the week off. So I think American benifts are good...it just depends on who you work for!
On a side note: The City of Palo Alto is also known as the "Gateway to Silicon Valley."

Well, I'm jealous, but having just gotten a full time salaried job after 3 years of being self-employed, I'm still thrilled with this whole notion of having weekends off! I think if I had an entire week of in a row I wouldn't know what to do with myself!Comment
