    "take snapshot"?

    see the menu on the top left corner

    "save game"
    "load game"
    "play the world"
    "take snapshot"
    "quit"

    are we talking about screen capturing or something more?

    Looks like screenshot proof of your games, I've seen a few Civ2 sites with screenshots, but they also show your windows start menu bar and all. Now its a pure Civ shot. Nice feature, can't think of anything useful for it other then for webpages though

      Nah, I bet we are looking at an "alpha build" feature, to help PR people give avay to press Screenshots of the game.

        If there is a function for taking screenshots in the game it is probably fullscreen, incompatible with Windows palette .
