St. Basils is definately one of the ones I was considering. The Grand Kremlin Palace and Red Square were others.

St Basil is ok, but the Czar Alexander II memorial church in St. Petersburg is much-much greater and amazing.

Juri was only the dude who got the honours (and a statue
). It was, IIRC, Viktor Koroljev's project - the Russian space program (and he got a statue too ).
How about the university of Moscow? It's propably the tallest university in the world (and weirdest looking I believe )
