      St. Basils is definately one of the ones I was considering. The Grand Kremlin Palace and Red Square were others.

      I had no idea that Red Square predated the Soviet era.
      No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

        St Basil is ok, but the Czar Alexander II memorial church in St. Petersburg is much-much greater and amazing.

          I understood that germans themselves could have accidentially torpedoed their own ship. Conspiracies etc...

            Juri was only the dude who got the honours (and a statue ). It was, IIRC, Viktor Koroljev's project - the Russian space program (and he got a statue too ).

            How about the university of Moscow? It's propably the tallest university in the world (and weirdest looking I believe )
