I search in online web translators, spanish-english dictionaries and encyclopedias and I found that the spanish word "OceanÃa" in english is "The Australian Continent"
So you're right and I'm right. The 'Anglo people' can say that besides "America" there is another country that have the same name of his own continent, but for the 'Latin people' Australia, as a continent, doesn't exist.

Well, tecnically, the "island" of Austrialia is considered in geographical terms a continent, so its a natural monopoly since it is the only country in it. (if you look at all atlases or encyclopedias, it will say the largest island is Greenland. Australia is the smallest continent).
