America should be in there sure, but not defaulted as that sissy blue color, and not with Lincoln as the main Leader. It shouldve been someone associated with the Revolution and the DoI like Thomas Jefferson or George-father-of-the-freakin-nation-Washington, or HELL, EVEN OL BEN FRANKLIN.
Lincoln gets more props than any prez in history other than maybe FDR

I would lean towards Washington, if only because he was our first.
What would be REALLY nice is if the leader would change as you changed eras. It would reflect whoever was the most powerful/influential leader of that civ as it progressed. Obviously some civs didn't make it to the Modern era, but They could keep their leader, or just reflect a later leader in their history.Get 84 Resources, 96 Resources, or the NEW 153 Resources! Get Rockier Bonus Grassland versions1.0 or 2.0! Get My Mix of Snoopy and Womocks early terrain! Get Varied Goody Huts!

But why would Clinton be the last? Someday W will be out of office, and (I Hope) we'll still be a nation--or a civ--or a civoluted amalgam of the western world.
Back to subject --
There's room in the game for many important civs.
America should be included. It is a civilization, even if the cornerstones are Big Macs, Beer, and Baseball. It is what all other civilizations were leading up to, at least at the present time.
As I recall, Rome (what all others were leading up to then) was an amalgam that spread its bread and circuses culture around what it knew as the world.

Anyway, the thread ask for US in the game. I support the US to be a civ, but as "my president" has said call the civ "America" is wrong, it should be the entire name or just USA. It would be nice to see the US split in the Anglo States, the French States and the Mexican provinces of the north.

Yes. Without a doubt. It doesn't matter that they developed later than other civs. America makes as much sense in the Ancient age as Carthage does in the Modern age.I'm about to get aroused from watching the pokemon and that's awesome. - PekkaComment
