  • All hail the great Turywenzo!

Ahh... The List veterans, still remember that good old Religion thread?

Indeed. Especially the magificent thread master; what was his name again? I personally think Religion was one of the most productive threads; we actually agreed on a system instead of arguing besides eachother. But I doubt it'll be included in Civ3. Sigh...

      *Turywenism has started in Greece.

Be nice if that were an actual religion in Civ3

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Who could ever forget the great Religion Thread of '99? It looks like a long shot, but I have to say I don't think I've heard the word "religion" yet from Firaxis. And there can't be NO religion(?) WHich makes me think there might be something they're holding up their sleeve...?

Has anyone sent a question to Firaxis about this subject?

If they don't include religion, but just keep the system of Civ1-2 (=Cathedrals and Temples), then I at least hope they change the name of the Cathedral improvement. Kind of strange building Cathedrals when you're the Chinese or Persians.

I haven't sent a question yet -- so I guess I will. I was sort of assuming that one had been covered. I somehow thought Stefu would have already beaten me to it.

I've asked it about three times, but haven't got replies beyond generic "we don't know what this game is going to have."
