btw, with "editors for everything" i mean having tools (in the released thing, not after the release online) to make maps, scenarios, edit the text files, the unit sprites and the city/terrain graphics, everything and to be able to create a load-able mod in a few minutes
sounds like science fiction, doesnt it?

Wow, I was the very first who voted!

Markos, I think the final results are pretty much predictible. Perhaps if the answers were something like "Definately! In-the-box editors for everything! And documentation! Even if the game will cost more", the results were different

I was the first who voted in an earlier Civ2 vote!

hey, how come that several posters voted forthe same option in such a short time?

I'd just like to record that I voted for the third option: in effect the status quo but with everything open. As a heavy editor and prolific scenario designer, you can accuse me of lacking imagination, but I fail to see how an improved interface is going to spead things up. FW gave us an editor for copying units and editing all the texts. Everyone still used Notepad and PSP because it was all too broken up. In Notepad you open up the Rules.txt and everything you want to do is there, you don't have to jump back and forth within the in-game editor. I'd also argue for the retention of all customized info in text format for ease of editing and distribution, but again, I want to the freedom to change everything.

Editors for Maps,Scenarios, Units (A more advanced Unit editor is needed!!!!)

Attributes; places for up to 100 new units!!

All needed in the new game. I would pay up to $55.55 for those improvements.
