Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus
Alva, are you suggesting that campmajor! is Kampus majore's DL ?

Three prominent Oters come to light at first glance, but then you might notice Slowwhand’s and Krazy Horse [Frogger’s] other activities; Frogger for one posted a lot in the Civ sections, as did Slowwhand. Now of course, Asher is the straight Oter- but there’s a bad apple in every bunch and Asher deserves his election due to his loyalty to Apolyton, his humorous OT posts, and his constant presence in the OT community; helping keep Apolyton vibrant and exciting.
However, it seems as though next election (January 2003) will bring about a new wave of posters from the Civ III section to the forefront of the Hall of Fame, thus commemorating the new game’s place in the annals of Apolyton History; since in 2003 all the 2002 posters will be gifted with another vote… making each individual vote count for two… all other groups however, will remain at the same number of votes.
Also coming in 2003… More major renovations and changes for the Hall of Fame based on YOUR suggestions!
Thanks for participating in 2002 and Merry Christmas!
I still think being Ontopic should count for more. Speaking for the Strat guys, I think alexman and Arrian and Catt not getting acknowledged is sort of crazy... I mean, if nothing else, alexman's work on the AI has literally influenced / defined the course of upgrades and patches. Uh, hello, I know that Off-Topic has become its own thing, but we are talking Civ, right?
Actually, we’re talking apolyton, but if you notice; many of those already in the hall were great civ-posters and players in the past. If you want a full briefing, just ask ming- he ‘grew up’ on the forums with many of them.

Actually, although I'm an on-topic kinda guy, I think that what 'poly has become is pretty damn cool, and that the different generations and community groups are really very interesting and valuable. Good stuff.
[OK, can;t help myself: suggestion for the future, how about nye's approach of on-topic, off-topic, and overall?]
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.
Wow, I guess I am stuck in Civ3 and Moo threads so much, that I have never even see a post form many on the top of the list. Maybe it should be done by sections. I did not vote as I have no clue who they are if they do not come to Civ3. Baseball has a HoF for current and selection for "old timers".

Who's Nye? ... Mayhaps I should reread page one of this thread

Well it would not matter if they are old timers or newbies as I just do not frequent most of the other sections and I wonder what the percentage is of member that do cross over to other ones.
