Is there a way to stop the trading of techs

You can slow it down in the editor;
1. make them more expensive
2. make them more expensive to trade(AI to AI)
don't know if you can stop tech trade thoughIs God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

In my mod, I made a very potent way to slower tech race : writing doesn't allow to trade communications (radio does). Also, Navigation enables map-trading, and Mapmaking doesn't.
This way, most Civs will know only a few others until late medieval, which will slow down the tech race. These modifications can be made in the editor, when editing rules, in the "Advances" tab. Just uncheck the boxes.
Also, you can lower the AI to AI trade rate (in the "difficulty" tab) : the lowest it is, the least eager AI civs are to trade with each other."I have been reading up on the universe and have come to the conclusion that the universe is a good thing." -- Dissident
