What's Wrong with CIV 3 PTW?

Hi! I haven't been on these forums in about a year... so please forgive me for my ignorance.

What's wrong with PTW? Is it buggy? Is it worth the money?

Go see the Civ3 - Play the World forum. There are a lot of threads of how good or bad is PtW. There are even "is it worth the money" polls. If you have patience to read (or skip) all the rants, you'll find what you want.

From what I've read so far, in a nutshell:
for SP - yes, it is worth it
for MP - not yet
