Hello, I'm just curious, what kind of system do you use when playng Civ3? How well does it work?
I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"

I'm using a Duron 850, w/ 256 RAM and a GeForce 2. The game plays smooth as silk.

Edit: oh, and Windows XP Home Edition.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

Pentium 4/1.7GHz, 1GB RAM, Matrox G450 32MB + WINXP Pro. Smooth as Alexnm says.

I have a Pentium II 550MHz 64M RAM from e-machines. It runs slowly for huge maps, but no other problems.

More RAM = game flows better, especially in large or huge maps.

                  LOL

I should have thought anything would 'work ok' on that

PIII 863 MHz, 128 MB, 20GB HD, Win ME,

I know its a dinosaur but it still plays relatively smooth

Does anyone have a bunch of P4s, preferably >2GHz, that they want to get rid of for free?

500 MHz, 128 RAM. Will get a new one soon probably though . Plays very fine on Standard maps, since PtW I can also play on Huge + 16 civs.
