Hi!
I'm new to this forum and quite new to Civ III, but I've played Civ II quite extensively so I'm not a total newbie.
I haven't been able to find any conclusive information on which resources you get on the city field itself, depending on terrain type and bonus resources. It seems I always get two food and one shield no matter what is underneath, but commerce bonus (eg. gold on a hill) seems to count. Is this true?
Btw. I play US version 1.29f.
Thanks!

), it seems it is dependent on city size. Small cities (<=6) get 2-1-1 and bigger ones (>6, <=12) get 2-1-4, 2-1-5 (the 5 being from river) and I've also seen 2-2-4 and 2-2-5 (?). Where does this additional shield come from? I've found nothing in the manual about this. Do you know any details?
