  • Aaaah History, Sweet, Toy History....

I can't play Civ3 at the moment becouse my computer broke, and now I only have Red Hat to console me in the warm blue light of Screen (and no Linux version SMACX either).

So, I would appreciate it if some of you guys would describe your more interesting game-histories to me in long and great detail, be sure to make it exciting, anthrapomorthise the AI as much as nessesary to feel like it was a real struggle against the Axis of Evil, you know- for fun.

The stories forum is indeed the place to go!! in fact everybody should come on over and check out some of the great work being posted there.

Please come and read the many and varied tales and be sure to give feedback to show your support for the writers, constructive critisism is very welcome.

You never know you may be inspired to write an epic of your own I know I was.

I always wanted to write some stories and post them there. I have some fantastic ideas WRT the way of writing these epic tales, but unfortunately English is not my native language. I don't feel confident enough to test my skills on it.

Thanks Nym, Alexnm dont let that stand in your way. there have been many pieces posted on the stories forum by people who dont speak English as there first language. In most cases it helps to make the story more interesting, and anything that is written with style is always appreciated.

There are all sorts of stories by all sorts of people, some very funny , some very dramatic , some historical and some futuristic . You see if the story is good then we will all understand it even with some mistakes.

Everybody makes mistakes, it doesnt really matter that much, sure a story is easier to read if its written perfectly but is it any good?

Im crap at typing and can only use one finger but this does not deter me, because as with all things I know that practice makes perfect!!
