There is supposed to be a sort of playback feature at the end of Civ 3 in which the significant events of the game are reciounted. For me this feature worked the first time I played Civ 3, but I never got it to work again. Was this feature disabled by one of the patches?

It's always worked for me the three or four times I've won. Odd. Have you tried re-installing Civ3?Last edited by Playa del Carmen; October 20, 2002, 23:49.You're a man- you can be replaced.

Dr.,
Did you see the playback screen? If so, did you hit play and wait a loooong time? The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

One time when I won a game where I had a lot of cities I also thought the game was broken, but it turned out it just needed time to load the replay....Try my Lord of the Rings MAP out: Lands of Middle Earth v2 NEWS: Now It's a flat map, optimized for Conquests

A similar question-- is it possible to play the end of game movie other than at the end of game? Is there some file we can load to see it? This would be helpful if had a series of saved games and didn't remember how the first play of the game went, and want to see how much you can improve with the second play.
