Culture freaking flips!!

    but then I never capture a city... I raze and burn

    I find culture flipping alittle annoying, although with a few mods it would be a good concept.

    The only thing that gets me about it is you loose all the forces in that city.

    Ok fair play flip the city but give at least half of the forces back!!.

    I miss partisans!.

          I agree... there should be chance (depending on health and status (regular, vet, etc...)) that they will leave the magicly appear in your capital.


          Culture flipping is nothing new, I never played Civ2 but I have played a lot of Civ SNES, and because of all the wonders I made, a lot of other cities were switching to me. The problem with that was that they were often too far away to make a difference (corruption).

          So Culture flipping in Civ3 is a better way of doing it, the city that flipped is not a world away. But like in CIV SNES, your own cities can flip as well.

            I've been playing Civ since Civ 1 so im and old fan! culture flipping in it self is not a bad idea,
            The problem really and i think this applies alot to everyone on this board, we just hate to lose!!!!
