Well, since the idea about tourism was the last in the EC3 list, I was wondering what was the cause for this?
    1. Is it a bad idea?
    2. My final draft wasn't good enough?
    3. Tourism is OK, the final draft was OK, but it isn't essential for Civ3.

In case you like the idea of tourism in Civ3, put here some ideas. If not, let me (and Firaxis) know it.

To see the final draft about tourism, take a look at http://apolyton.net/forums/Forum28/HTML/000343.html#4

So, I guess we won't see tourism in civ3. Seeing such a lack of interest among the civ fans, why should the firaxians bother themselves?

No! I want tourism - I said that in another thread (migration I think it was) not long ago! Tourism can bring monetary benefit.

No, in Australia we don't live with kangaroos and koalas in our backyards... Despite any stupid advertisments you may see to the contrary... (And no, koalas don't usually speak!)
