  • Interesting: five attacks from three cavalry

Fighting a war with Persia. I had three cavalry all attack once so they each had 2/3 movement left. Threw them into a newly created army, and the army was then able to attack two more times.

    That was fun.

I don't know if I have seen that myself. I haven't many armies but in my last game I had some for this time in months and I did notice that I could load cavalry into the army while using up all of there three moves and then I attacked with the army on the same move. Come to think of it one of the Cavalry units may have been the one that generated the leader. I know I stuffed it into an army eventually but maybe not the first one.

I rarely get GLs. I am up to 1785 in my present game and I am playing the Romans and still no GLs. Its not like I haven't been fighting. I have conquered at least two dozen cities but buy the time I have some elite units the war is over.

      Awesome awesome awesome!

      God I love Armies.
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

I still can't get a damn GL, and I play as Rome.

I did get one once, from a goody hut from the first 1.17f patch that came out.
I drink to one other, and may that other be he, to drink to another, and may that other be me!

How does one get a GL from goody huts anyway? I have never seen that.

Not GLs, I think, but there was a bug that let you get Armies from huts.

Me too. I think the people who don't think armies are worthwhile must not realize they have blitz. I am kind of wondering about armies on the defense, but I think I'll start a new thread for that.

ditto, tho i doubt id leave an army by itself next to a city unless i had just got a leader and even then id prolly send it back to acity just in case it got hurt...

                  nice trick

I stand corrected. THanks for rattling my brain into remember. Not only was I able to armies, but loads of workers.

                    God Bless 1.17f!
