  • I Have A Question

Well, it all began when I started a "quick-start" game and it gave me Egyptions, middle size earth, and 7 enemy civs.

Now, I have conquered and destroyed two civs (greeks and romans) so I could control the contenat, now, the Americans a Aztecs are right to the south of me, I launched an attack on the Aztecs and managed to capture three cities and raze two, I made peace and they gave me various second age techs. The Americans are growing very powerful, and I am worried that that they could beat me possibly in a Space Race, so, should I attack them with my knights, or wait for calvary or tanks? I am concerned that they may beat me in techs, because almost all their cities are as big and productive as mine, what should I do?

If your close enough to cavalry, wait for them and upgrade your knights.

if you dont know if you have saltpeter you'd better find out soon.

knights on pikemen is a decent battle, but if calvary arent too far away you might as well tip the odds.

Agree with UberKruX. Additionally, in that vein, there's no harm in making sure that you've got a bunch of knights ready to upgrade if the cavalry aren't far off, so committing a few cities to pumping them out probably wouldn't come amiss. (Of course, I'm the guy that loves to overcompensate when invasion is imminent. My transition from builder to warrior is extreme.)
