  • Q: What's missing in this picturte?

    Hi,
have just started to modify maps with civedit and made a map where I had almost everything and computer nothing. (Wanted to do some very easy playing)

Well, as playing my favourite nation, France, I totally dominated.
Out of osme reason I desided to build in Paris everything - well I'd almost managed but not quite.

So todays question is - what GW, SM and or City Improvments are missing in my Paris?

The bitmap (1024*768) can be found here and I have included *.jpg conversion in this message.

    Have fun guessing/knowing etc.

            Hoover Dam, Nuclear Power Plant?

I don't know. I look at city view so rarely.

              Well,
              sofar cofirmed missing are:
              Aqeduct and nuclear power plant.
(And they are missing due to restricting rules)

Palace and Hoover Dam are in my Paris...

Waldo is rightly missing - How do you build a Waldo in CivIII?

But still there are more missing buildings (GW,SW &/ CI) so carry on...

Regarding the absence of Nuclear and Coal power plants, remember that building ANY power plant will automatically replace any other power plant in the city. Therefore, since there is clearly a Solar plant in the screenshot, its presence will preclude the presence of either a Nuclear or a Coal plant.

As for an Aqueduct, if the city is built on a river or lake, then it does not need one.

                      Iljuin,
you are right about nuclear/coal/solar plant - one will replace the other one.
But if you replace coal with solar you will see ruins were the coal was earlier located.

As for Aqueduct - had to sacrifise it with a river so that I could build several GW's instead.

I don't look at the city view very often and I haven't got Civ around to check at the moment, but I can't find anything that resembles a Temple. You do have a Cathedral, so you should have had one once, but you might have sold it to trick us.
Also, there are no city walls in the city, not even ruins. (Does the Great Wall have anything to do with that?)

Isn't temple behind the palace next to Forbidden city??
And if I'm right City walls are the last missing thing in this picture...

All those buildings and still so few houses.

It took me forever to find the courthouse. Even though it is sitting right in the middle.

It looks like the colossus and the statue of liberty are placed on top of each other.
