Bomber Range makes Giga Maps useless

Hey Uber, you forgot to put Kemzeke on that map !

it should have a kinda of standard range, and this is multiplied by the size of the map kinda, so smaller maps have a smaller bomber range, and large maps have a larger range!

hi ,

its not only the air-units range , there are a couple other fields in the editor that they could also "unlock" and give a greater limit , .....

actually , it is asked from the start of the game , but there was never an answer that helped us , .....

it was mailed , written down in sigs , asked in the chatroom , .....

Gramhos could come up with something , ....

while they are at it , there should be the option to "flag" units with something like " doubles defense against airunits" , .....

Yeah, and for melee weapons. And
"invunerable from cannon fire" (A cannon ball isn't going to get through an iron frigate or transporter!)
"Invulnerable from arrows" (Whats an arrow from a galley going to do to a caraval?)

Thoughts of setting up hard rules for scaling according to map size aside, just make the plane ranges customizable, firaxis, like everything else. They did a great job allowing us to tinker with the rules, why stop here?

Bomber Range Petition

I am hoping that the petition will help encourage Firaxis to consider changing the current limit on bombers and other aircraft. Hopefully it will be successful, and we can finally be done with the current limit of 8 squares.

, no petition on apolyton , ......

anyway , the more people that go for it , ....
lets hope its going to be in the next patch , and not just a max. movement of lets say 12 or so , no , they should give us more then that , and while they are at it , Firaxis please work on the other "locked" fields also

, well , make one here also , the more there are , the more they shall want to do something about it , ....

and apolyton is viewed by people who dont go there , ...

You really should post it here as well. To paraphrase Mr. Strannix: "A movement goes from one point to another and stops, but a revolution keeps coming around in your face." The more exposure you have the more people will see your point and the more responses you will receive.
