Just wondering if someone pulled this off. I can win with the space race, diplomacy and military, but culture seems almost impossible to me.

Couldn't agree more on this! We are all still in awe
Off-topic: good to see yet one more from Antwerp
En er zijn er hier nog wel een paar
( nee, DeepO ik zal leuven niet bij Antwerpen rekenen , hoewel )
( domme, raar gevoel om Nederlands te schrijven, ik doe hier langer over dan anders in het engels )Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

You basically have to beat the AI into submission (conquest) to get a cultural victory. Just leave the last remaining AI with 1 city and you can surpass the 100k culture barrier quite easily on larger maps. A peaceful 100k cultural victory on Deity would be something for sure. The 20k one city cultural victory isn't too hard to do with the spaceship victory disabled. Takes until ~1800AD to get to, so a spaceship would probably be launched before then.
One of SirPleb's huge/deity games that was in the CFC HOF was played to 2050AD, where Cultural, Spaceship, Conquest, Domination, and Diplomatic victories could be chosen from. I think the one he has listed there now (and can be dowloaded) allows for all but the Diplomatic victory condition at 2050AD.
