  • Murphey's Law and the New Patch

Murphey's Law struck last night as Mao's 10-transport load of tanks set sail for the last of India's cities on an island. After loading, Mao's gofer hit the new wake all button to activate the transports. The flotilla then moved to India and the gofer pointed at the square to land. Nothing happened. So, the gofer hit the button again. Still nothing. Finally looking, the gofer noted that the transport was empty. Funny, thought they were all full. So, he tried the next transport. Nothing.

The short story is that wake all unloaded all the transports. The invasion force was back in the port, probably in the pubs.

Anyone else experience sad tales of woe with the new patch features?

I find it somehow annoying to have several defensive units which should stay fortified in the same city as my attacking force which I want to wake. After "wake all" I have to fortify my defensive units again.
Not a very big problem but anyway...

I'd like to see a "wake all [unit XY]" option for each of the unit types present at the tile.

Poor coordination between the Navy and the Army increases the realism of the game. Does the AI also enjoy this feature ?
      Statistical anomaly.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
