  • not so random AI opponents

It seems to me that whenever I choose the Americans as my civilization, then I *always* seem to get the following AI opponents: Iroquios, Aztecs, Indians, and Romans

I don;t know about Indians and Romans, but there is a feature in set-up called "Culurally Linked Starts" or close to that.

This puts civs in 5 generally geographic groups, and starts them near each other.

I usually have it turned off.

Sadly, even when I have that option turned on, it rarely happens. I'll play as the Romans and have the Chinese, French, and Babylonians next to me 9 times out of 10.
