  • A Question for MarkG and other powers that be...

Obviously everyone knows of the popularity of the Sims...Well, there is something called the Sims Resource, and they have had newsletters as well as CDs with their favorite downloads, images, etc. on them. I was wondering if anyone has thought of creating something similar for civ3?

    Humbly yours,

    dros...

          Goddammit!

Mark, as far as CDs go, some mods (e.g. The Mein Kampf mod) are quite heavy on the graphics side: new units, icons, terrain, etc. A CD might be useful for these larger mods, particularly the upcoming Star Wars mod. I don't see it as being really essential, but it might be beneficial to some people. I suppose it depends on whether or not you could recoupe the cost of producing it (which won't be much).

I would now remember some of the CtP mods... they're massive, I think like 20 MB downloads... not most pleasing for modem users.
