Congrats Uber for this, remember to tell us the story when (and if ) you get back. Meeting Sid... oh yeah, I dream to meet him... and gift him my CtP and CtP 2 boxes . Then I'd like to scream off at him for not taking enough time designing Civ 3, not designing it. And I'd ask him to reveal what his Apolyton login is.
Can't you see people's IP address? I'd think that would be a way for you to find out Sid's login.

If you told me what the Sid's IP is, a search would be done on the IP, but I don't know Sid's IP . Markos, however, has it, so if he shared it / did a search on it.

I know Mark would have it. I have Sid's from a few years ago (1998/99), but that'd probably be no use now, unless you can somehow look back that far.

I'm not sure. Could be from a few places. Back when I was with Sidgames, a friend of mine suggested I keep a list of all Firaxian IP numbers, ICQ numbers, and e-mail addresses. Some were very easy to find like with Brian Reynolds, who is very active in the community. I'm not sure how I got Sid's IP number and e-mail address though. The only thing I don't have is Sid's ICQ number, he may not have one. If he did, it would probably be authorization only
