  • Possibly stupid question time....

    Hi,

First time poster, I'm sure i'll get flamed for top posting or something ( whatever that is ). But I have a really basic question, even though I have been playing the game for a while.

Am I right in presuming that you can't get access to the civilopedia entries for the city improvements via the city screen. I know you can find their entries on the pop-up box that appears when changing production, and i'm aware of the ways to pop up the civilopedia for varies aspects of the city screen, ( corruption, luxuries, etc ). But I have never been able to find out how to open up the 'civilopedia' for the individual improvements ( and moreover, what they do ). I have tried the shortcut, that doesn't work.

    Any ideas?

    Kev

No, there is no civilopedia shortcut in the build menu of the city screen.

I'd like to have one as well. I always right click on the shields to open the civilopedia and then search the entry but it is quite annoying.

I always use that pop-up menu for changing the build orders. I agree, there is no way to get to the Civilopedia from the city screen.

Run notepad/spreadsheet the same time as civIII with your notes and switch back and forth. Use the MS window key to switch between applications.
