    Here Ye, Here Ye, suggestions are needed!!

    Lord Poseidon has requested an audience:

    I am Lord Poseidon and hereby declare a new mod that is in production. About 73 new units will be added to the game, and suggestions are needed on what you like to see in this mod. A second mod will be started after the first one is released that will divide all the units among the civilizations so each civilization will have fewer units that are available plus a handful of unique units for each civilization. All these units have already been made by other people that have posted them on Apolyton and Civilization Fanatics. Please submit any suggestions or questions to my squire at useraron@hotmail.com. I thank you for your time, and long live Lord Poseidon.

    Also, if you have submitted a unit before, I would like to hear from who you are and what you made so that proper credit can be given, I will try my best to name you all.

    You might want to place this in the creation forum. If you have already, and the intent was to get more publicity, then, well, okay then.

      Alpine troops!

      Nah, just kidding, they were cool in Civ II, but not very realistic to have a bunch of skiing troopers in the desert.
      An attack chopper would be nice, but I think that has already been created. Maybe a smaller attack ship, for example modern corvettes, missile hydrofoils or missile frigate? Just thoughts...

        what about a modern bomber? Currently, the bomber doesn't upgrade to anything, even though the fighter does.

          I think by modern times, the bomber and the fighter basically fused into aircraft such as the F15, F18, etc. Unless you wanted something like the B52, then I don't think that a modern bomber is really necassary.

            Well, the bomber is much better at bombing than a jet fighter, and the F-15 is US only. An upgrade for the bomber would be good.

              An attack aircraft would be more accurate, since there are actually very few real modern bombers. It´s some in the large air forces, like US B1 and Russian Tupolevs (eg. Tu-160), but there are not very common. However, it would be nice if the bomber could upgrade to the stealth bomber.

                I know, I was simply making a generalization. All modern jet fighters of every nation have the capability to engage in precision bombing runs, etc.
